The Root Cellar The Society has a library cum research room, “The Root Cellar”, 35 Greens End Road, Meltham, Holmfirth. HD9 5NW.

Tuesday: 2.00pm to 4.30pm.
Wednesday: 10.00am to 12.30pm and 2.00pm to 4.30pm. Thursday: 2.00pm to 4.30pm,

The society library. Soldiers who Died in the Great War on CD Rom. The Army Roll of Honour (WW11) on CD Rom.
We are always looking for volunteers to help on the desk or to help our visitors, and of course, transcribe and training is available. Accommodation is tight but we manage.
