The Root Cellar

New Root Cellar

The Society has a library cum research room, “The Root Cellar”, 35 Greens End Road, Meltham, Holmfirth. HD9 5NW.

The telephone numbers and opening hours remain unchanged.
Our office, shown in the photograph above, is on the ground floor, to the left of the front door.

The Root Cellar is open as follows:

Monday:  2.00pm to 4.30pm.
Tuesday:  2.00pm to 4.30pm.

Wednesday:  10.00am to 12.30pm and 2.00pm to 4.30pm.

Thursday:  2.00pm to 4.30pm,
7.30pm to 10.00pm on the 1st & 3rd Thursday evenings each month.

Friday: Closed.

Saturday:  2.00pm to 4.30pm.
Please Note. The Root Cellar will be closed on Saturday 12th November 2011 as we are holding our annual 
Family & Local History Fair at Batley Town Hall. Doors are open from 10.00am - 4.00pm for those wishing to visit us there.
